‘Alternative’ Gifts
If you live in the UK, why not consider giving a present to a friend or one of your family in the form of a gift to Destiny Garden School. At present this scheme is set up in the UK but is shortly to be expanded to other countries.
Gifts can range from £5 which will provide a child with drinking water during the school year, to £60 which pays for a teacher’s salary for one month, to £120 which will pay for the education of a child for a year. See the list of gifts below.
This is the chance to buy an unusual and thoughtful gift- whilst also helping the children at Destiny Garden School to transform their lives.
How ‘Alternative’ Gifts Work
The scheme is run by the UK charity ‘Destiny Children’ - for more details about them please see this link – World Support- UK.
All you need to do is –
• Choose a Gift from the list below
• Send an email to destinychildren@live.co.uk.
• ‘Destiny Children’ will advise you of the best method of sending funds to their account
• You will receive a laminated Gift Voucher, see example below, to send to your friend, or this could be sent electronically, if you are short on time or want to send it overseas.
• Your money will be sent to Mombasa and an email acknowledgement from Destiny Garden School’s Director, Jacob, will be forwarded on to you by Destiny Children.
• Destiny Children make sure your gift is used where it is needed most and you will know that it will make a difference to the children of Destiny Garden School by helping to provide them with an education and looking after their welfare.
